The University of Piraeus is one of the oldest State Universities in Greece. It presently operates with nine academic departments, specializing in Economics, Business Administration, International studies and related areas. Its student population exceeds 15000 and its staff numbers more than 150 professors and researchers of all ranks. The University was founded in 1938 under the title “School of Industrial Studies” by the Industrialists’ Association of Greece, with the specific objective of educating prospective managers for the country’s emerging public and private sector. In 1958 it was renamed to “Graduate School of Industrial Studies” and in 1966 it acquired the legal status of fully accredited Higher Education institution. In 1989, the Graduate School got its present name of “University of Piraeus”. The University’s Research Center operates as an independent legal entity, under special provisions of the University’s Statutes. The Center has been particularly active in conducting research on behalf of public and private sector organizations, in many subject areas, including Entrepreneurship education, Human Resources development, training programmes design and training providers’ development.

Within the FINALIST project, the University of Piraeus Research Center will undertake the project’s overall Coordination. It will lead all work packages, and monitor the project implementation on a day-to-day basis. It will be in close cooperation with the other consortium partners. Furthermore, it will be responsible for administrative and financial reporting to the contracting Authority.

KEPKA - Consumers' Protection Center was founded in 1982. KEPKA is a non- profit, independent, non-governmental Consumers' Organization. KEPKA represents Consumers at local level, in Amicable Dispute Committee and Market Surveillance Committee of the Prefecture of Thessaloniki. At national level, KEPKA represents Consumers in National Consumer Council, in Economic and Social Committee, in the Committee for the surveillance of the Services of General Interests, National Committee of e-commerce. KEPKA is a member of Consumers' International (C.I.), of the European Consumers' Organization (B.E.U.C.), of Health Action International (H.A.I.), of European Association for Grain Legume Research (AEP), in the Alliance for Lobbying Transparency and Ethics Regulation (ALTER - EU), of European Organisation for Standardization (ANEC), of Women's Global Network for Reproductive Rights (W.G.N.R.R.), of Transatlantic Consumers' Dialogue (T.A.C.D.), of the informal Federation of Greek Consumers Organizations (Fe.Gre.Co.). KEPKA represents Greek Consumers in various National, European and International Organizations and Institutions. KEPKA publishes a monthly magazine, "Consumers Steps".

Within the FINALIST project, KEPKA - Consumers Protection Center will cooperate with the lead partner for the survey design and will undertake to conduct it in Greece. The partner’s role in the project will also include:
a. Identification training of consumers’ topics
b. Preparing the trainers manual
c. Forming the group of trainers
d. Conducting the training of trainers sessions in Greece
e. Forming the consumers groups to participate in the training workshops in Greece
f. Evaluating the programme’s performance

The Laboratory of Political Communication and Media Information of the University of Athens was established in 1986 to undertake interdisciplinary research in addition to cross scientific collaboration on issues that directly or indirectly relate to the subject matter that its title indicates.
The framework of operation of the Laboratory is within the domain of the Section of Political Science in the Department of Political Science and Public Administration of the Faculty of Law, Economics and Political Science. There have been partnerships with other academic Sections and Departments of other Universities as well as with political, educational and cultural Institutions, domestically or abroad, that have similar goals and aspirations.
The co-operation of the Laboratory with the Greek State is limited to projects of an advisory or research nature and it is bound by the principles of academic freedom according to the provisions and guarantees of International and Greek Law.

The Fachhochschule für Verwaltung und Rechtspflege Berlin (FHVR) is a Berlin state university which was established in 1973. The university can recall on a long tradition of empirical research into the European dimension of vocational training and employment. Numerous European-wide studies have been conducted by its personnel, in particular the university has been commissioned by European, national and regional authorities for the evaluation of programmes co-funded with European means. The university is embedded in a wide-ranging network of partners in research and education: it is strongly experienced in international cooperation both by steering and coordinating European-wide partnerships as well as being a reliable partner in several consortia.
Due to its recent research activities into issues of quality assurance, FHVR Berlin was contracted by CEDEFOP to animate the international virtual community for quality in VET, which was developed by FHVR into a powerful instrument to support quality assurance in European VET-systems. Under the leadership of EBTN (European Banking Training Nework), FVVR Berlin currently participates in a European Leonard-da-Vinci project in the banking and financial services sector which aims to increase the matching between training supply and demand in this sector.

The Borough Administration Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg of Berlin is the local administrative authority of the borough Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg. It has the responsibility to carry out concrete administration measures, e.g. in the field of services for citizens, youth, health, social and welfare, culture and local economy.
The social department provides social offers and services and supports three institutions of citizen’s advice in order to help clients draw up a full income and expenditure plan.

The Federation of Consumers in Bulgaria (FCB) was established on 10 May 1990 and was registered as a non-profit association with the aim of organised protection of consumer rights and interests of the Bulgarian consumers. Since July 1991 FPB is Member of the International Organization of Consumer Unions (IOCU) renamed to Consumer International on the 14th World Congress, held in September 1994 in Montpellier, France. In October 1995 FCB together with sister organisations from Greece, Albania, Romania and Yugoslavia founded the Balkan Consumer Centre, which was later joined by Cyprus and Turkey. In March 1996 the European Commission institutionally recognised this Centre.
In the Republic of Bulgaria FCB is NGO, which activity is directed explicitly to the protection of consumer rights and the interests and unites 23 Regional Unions of Consumers in almost all regional centres, 96 Consumers Clubs to them and three unions, organized by subject – those of energy- and water consumers and Mothers for protection of children’s nutrition. The last one is Member of the International Network IBFAN.

Spreading out all across the southern region of French Riviera from Cannes to Menton, the University of Nice-Sophia Antipolis includes 27 000 students (17% foreign students), about 1 270 teachers-researchers and 775 administrative and technical staff.

The University of Cyprus is a large sized Higher Education Institution which has already entered its 15th year of functioning since its first faculty members were appointed and its first students were accepted. The University consists of five faculties: The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences with four departments, the Faculty of Pure and Applied Sciences with four departments, the Faculty of Economics and Management with two departments and the Economics Research Centre, the Faculty of Letters with three departments and the Archaeological Research Unit, and the Faculty of Engineering with three departments.
